Choosing a business to invest in

Hello readers, today I will be writing about the right business to invest in. Hope you gain a thing or two from it.

Allah must be pleased with any business you want to start meaning it must be good for yourself, it must be good for others and it must be good for the community. In other words, your business should be halal. You should invest in what you pray will be good for you in this life and life after death as your business is going to be a part of your life, thus it should make you happy both in this world and the life after

You must also invest in an industry you understand. It could be an industry you have gained working experience from or a degree that focuses on the industry. If you do not understand the industry you  want to invest in then acquire the knowledge that will help you understand the industry.

Another factor to consider is the barrier to entry, is the industry easy to enter? Do the major competitors try to kill the competition? If the barrier to entry is high you could get a major competitor to provide you with a service, that way you would not be flushed out of the system. Allah knows best.

Everything should be done seeking the pleasure of Allah. Part of seeking the pleasure of Allah is hoping for a reward from Him in this life and the Hereafter. Everything happens according to the will of Allah (you have freewill, therefore you are responsible for your actions).

Halal means anything lawful Islamically

Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah). Thank you for reading this blog. Keep checking this blog regularly. Like this page on facebook. Cheers.

How to Make Money from Gold

We used to operate in a gold standard system in the past, it is common knowledge that we presently operate in a dollar based system.  A system where each country measures the value of its currency against the dollar for the dollar based system and the gold for the gold standard system. The gold used to be a yardstick for measuring the value of a currency, although it is no longer used to measure the value of currencies these days, it has maintained it's prestigious value. Gold a very valuable metal, its prices depreciates at times and appreciates other times, but looking at its trend over 100 years, the prices have always appreciated over 10 years or above. You must always pay zakat on the value of your gold when it reaches the nisab which is 87.48 grammes. However, you can give charity (sadaqa) from it. Alla...
