Benefits of wudu (ablution)

Asalam alaykum

I hope you are all good. Today I will be writing about the benefits of wudu. We Muslims are required to perform wudu before performing salat. "O you who believe! When you rise to pray, wash your faces and your hands and arms to the elbows, and wipe your heads, and your feet to the ankles. If you had intercourse, then purify yourselves. If you are ill, or travelling, or one of you returns from the toilet, or you had contact with women, and could not find water, then use some clean sand and wipe your faces and hands with it. God does not intend to burden you, but He intends to purify you, and to complete His blessing upon you, that you may be thankful." Quran 5:6

We have obligatory and non-obligatory prayers. The 5 times daily prayers are obligatory, thus you should perform ablution at least 5 times daily. If perform ablution for zuri and its not broken till its time for asri, although its not compulsory for you to repeat the wudu but it is better you do. Prayers like doha and tahajjud would also require wudu before they can be performed.

Wudu purifies you spiritually, physically and  mentally.  Allah (Exalted and Glorious is He) protects you even more when you have wudu. You already have two angels, one that writes your good deeds and another one that writes your bad deeds. And you have two angels that protects you on Allah's command. "He has a succession; before him and behind him, protecting him by God’s command. God does not change the condition of a people until they change what is within themselves. And if God wills any hardship for a people, there is no turning it back; and apart from Him they have no protector." Quran 13:11.

Washing your face at least 5 times daily helps  prevent your face from aging fast. Your skin glows cause it opens the pores of your skin. Rinsing your mouth 5 times daily helps your oral hygiene. Cleansing the nose helps to prevent flu, cold and the likes. Washing the arms and washing the feet helps to prevent mental problems. It also gives you strength. Wudu relaxes the nervous system.

May Allah forgive me for any error I might have made.

That is all for today. Everything should be done seeking the pleasure of Allah. Part of seeking the pleasure of Allah (Exalted and Glorious He is) is to hope for a reward from Him in this life and the hereafter. Everything happens according to the will of Allah (you have freewill, therefore, you are responsible for your actions).

Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah). May Allah send peace and blessings to Prophet Muhammed (P.B.U.H). Thank you for reading this article. Like this page on facebook. Keep reading this blog regularly. Cheers!

Ma salam.

Evil: Lekki Central Mosque

Asalam alaykum There are mosques and there are evil places that call themselves mosques, Lekki central mosque is one of those places such an evil place. The so called chief imam Ridwan Jamiu is also fake. A mosque, they have two floors. I  thought women where suppose to be upstairs and men downstairs. Yet, he allowed women to be entering the part where men enter, seeing women and men walking and passing through the same door. Women praying downstairs with no division between men and women. When I asked him about it, he said it is allowed. How is that allowed. Islam does not encourage the mixing of different sexes. Where ablution is done in the female part is sometimes dirty, when you are suppose to do ablution in a clean place. The toilets there were dirty and they face the qibla. Toilets are not meant to face the qibla according to Islamic law. There is one toilet there that did not face the qibla. A pit latrine, which i find odd why would there be regular toilets and one pit latri...

Eid Mubarak

Hope you have a good one

Quran 3:56-59

Asalam alaykum "As for those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe punishment, in this world and the next, and they will have no helpers.   And as for those who believe and do good works, He will give them their rewards in full. God does not love the unjust.”  This is what We recite to you of the Verses and the Wise Reminder. The likeness of Jesus in God’s sight is that of Adam: He created him from dust, then said to him, “Be,” and he was." Quran 3:56-59 Ma salam.
