5 qualities to look for in someone before employing them

Hello readers, I hope you are all good. I will be writing about the qualities you should look for when scouting for employees. Human resources is an important aspect of a business as you cannot operate a business without humans. Employing the wrong humans will be detrimental to your business. Here are qualitiess you should look in a person before hiring them:

1. Cultural fit

All companies have a culture, according to dictionary.cambridge.com, culture is the way of life, especiallty the general customs and beliefs of a particular group of people at a particular time. Thus, an employee's customs and beliefs should be in alignment with the company's customs and beliefs. Employees that fit well in your company culturally are happy when performing their tasks, so they perform well.

2. Integrity

Interview questions should be tailored in a way to know if an employee has integrity. Honesty is a good quality, if someone has integrity they would be honest. An employee that has integrity would not steal from your company. The employee will perform their tasks well whether or not someone is watching. They are reliable and accountable. They will also treat colleagues well.

3. Interpersonal skills

A person that you employ should have great interpersonal skills. When your employees have the skills, the office would be a condusive and productive place to work. There will mostly be no arguments. Everyone would work well with each other. They will be good team players which is one of the qualities that is needed to have a successful business.

4. Determination

People that are strong willed do well at work. This is because they do not give up when faced with hurdles. They are resilient.  If they try to use one method  to solve a challenge and its not working they try another method, thus  achieving your business goals.

5. Long term plans

You should look at the previous commitments on the potential employee's cv. Like, do they have degrees or professional certificates that took long. Companies they worked for in the past, did they work with them for at least a year. All this achievements would be a strong indication that the person would stay with your company for long. Training an employee is a form of investment, thus, you want returns. You do not want to train employees that will leave the company within a short period which means you have to train someone else, thus, increasing your training costs as well as not getting the return you were expecting.

Make sure your business is halal. Everything should be done seeking the pleasure of Allah. Part of seeking the pleasure of Allah means hoping for a reward from Him in this life and the Hereafter. Everything happens according to the will of Allah (you have freewill, therefore, you are responsible for your actions).

Halal means anything lawful Islamically.

Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah). May Allah send peace and blessings to Prophet Muhammed (P.B.U.H). Thank you for reading this article. Like this page on facebook. Keep reading this blog regularly. Cheers!

Evil: Lekki Central Mosque

Asalam alaykum There are mosques and there are evil places that call themselves mosques, Lekki central mosque is one of those places such an evil place. The so called chief imam Ridwan Jamiu is also fake. A mosque, they have two floors. I  thought women where suppose to be upstairs and men downstairs. Yet, he allowed women to be entering the part where men enter, seeing women and men walking and passing through the same door. Women praying downstairs with no division between men and women. When I asked him about it, he said it is allowed. How is that allowed. Islam does not encourage the mixing of different sexes. Where ablution is done in the female part is sometimes dirty, when you are suppose to do ablution in a clean place. The toilets there were dirty and they face the qibla. Toilets are not meant to face the qibla according to Islamic law. There is one toilet there that did not face the qibla. A pit latrine, which i find odd why would there be regular toilets and one pit latrine.

Quran 3:56-59

Asalam alaykum "As for those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe punishment, in this world and the next, and they will have no helpers.   And as for those who believe and do good works, He will give them their rewards in full. God does not love the unjust.”  This is what We recite to you of the Verses and the Wise Reminder. The likeness of Jesus in God’s sight is that of Adam: He created him from dust, then said to him, “Be,” and he was." Quran 3:56-59 Ma salam.

Quran 3:63-65

Asalam alaykum "But if they turn away—God knows the corrupt.  Say, “O People of the Book, come to terms common between us and you: that we worship none but God, and that we associate nothing with Him, and that none of us takes others as lords besides God.” And if they turn away, say, “Bear witness that we have submitted.”  O People of the Book! Why do you argue about Abraham, when the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until after him? Will you not reason?" Quran 3:63-65 Ma salam.
