4. Saudi Aramco
This company is also known Saudi Arabian Oil Company. It is the 4th largest company in the world. It is owned by the Saudi Arabian government. As of 2014, it had a revenue of $378 billion. It operates in the oil and gas industry.

5. State Grid Corporation of China
This company operates in the electric utility industry. As of 2014, it had a revenue of $333 billion. It is owned by the government of China. Its headquarters is in China. It serves 5 countries which include China, Austrialia, Brazil, Italy and the Philippines.

6. Samsung
This is a company that  was created in South Korean. They serve the world at large. It was created in 1938 by Lee Byung-chul who is now late. It operates in the electronics industry. As of 2015, it had a revenue of $305 billion.

7.Vitol Group of Companies
This company was founded in Netherland in 1966, it operates in the commodity industry. It was founded by Henk Vietor and Jacques DeTiger. Its headquarters is in Switzerland. It had a revenue of $270 billion as of 2014.

8. Exxon Mobil Corp
This is another large company in the world by revenue. Its headquarter is in USA. As of 2015, its revenue was $268.88 billion. It was founded in November, 1999. It is nice that achieve such growth strategically within 16 years. 

9. Royal Dutch Shell PLC.
This company operates in the oil and gas industry with its headquaters in Netherland. It was founded in February 1907. As of 2015, it had a revenue of $264.96 billion.

10. Volkswagen Group
It operates in the Automotive industry. As of 2014, it had a revenue of $245 billion. The headquarters is in Germany.

The need for constant power supply in developing nations

Hello readers, I will be writing about electricity today. I will be using Nigeria as a case study. Electricity is one of the factors that contributes to the success of an organisation. Developed countries have been able to maintain a  constant power supply. If they are able to have constant power then it is achievable. Constant electricity could attract good companies, thereby creating employment opportunities. This could alievate poverty in the developing countries. Thus, the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of the economy will improve. The challenge here with having constant power supply is also not to pollute the environment as fossil fuel is mostly used for the supply of electricity. Greener alternatives could be used such as tidal energy and wind energy. In my opinion, electricity could be constant in Nigeria if the industry is privatised.
