How to deal with fake products

Hello readers, I will be talking about ways to deal with counterfeits. Before that, I will like you to know that it is forbidden to sell or buy counterfeit products. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said there will be a reward from Allah if two people are honest in a trade.  They will get the benefit of martyr. However, if one of them is dishonest there will be loss in the trade. You should always speak the truth. Truthfulness leads to righteousness, righteousness leads to paradise.

So here are ways business owners can protect themselves from counterfeits. They can get intellectual property rights so that when the issues of counterfeit comes up they can be dealt with justly. A business can keep checking sites prone to selling fake products for counterfeits of their own products so that actions can be taken appropraitely. Lastly, businesses should inform their customers of what to look for to know if a product is a counterfeit of their own products and how to recognise the original product. This way customers could avoid them and force the counterfeits products out of the market.

Counterfeit products could be dangerous to the health of the customer. As such customers should take actions to protect themselves insha Allah (if Allah wills) from fake products. If a product sounds too good to be true then it is most likely not true. Advises given to them by business on identifyimg fake products should be adhered to.

Government should have firmer punishments in place for people that produces counterfeit product as this is one of the complaints I came about as they only usually get little punishments.

Make sure your business is halal. Everything  should be done seeking  the pleasure of Allah. Part of doing something seeking the pleasure of Allah means hoping for a reward from Him in this life and in the Hereafter. Everything happens according to the will of Allah (you have free will, therefore, you are responsible for your actions).

Halal means anything lawful Islamically.

Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah). Thank you for reading. Keep checking this blog. Like this page on facebook. Cheers!

The saverholic

Image courtesy of dan at FreeDigitalPhotos.net It involves minimal risk saving your money. I always say first save your money in an halal account, once it has reached a particular threshold start investing. The saverholic only saves and saves and saves and cannot afford to take well calculated risks. Because, all you do is to save money. Invest in other markets, the higher the risk the higher the return, diversify your investment portfolio.  All individuals that have achieved financial growth of great heights are risk takers, and they know that some risk might turn out negative but they know is all part of the process. They learn from it and apply it to the next risk they take and eventually they become experts at the risk they take (risk taken should not be excessive(too much uncertainty)). Then they end up having 80% success rates which I think is good enough. Make sure your business is halal.  Give charity regularly from your income, Allah loves charity an...

The need for constant power supply in developing nations

Hello readers, I will be writing about electricity today. I will be using Nigeria as a case study. Electricity is one of the factors that contributes to the success of an organisation. Developed countries have been able to maintain a  constant power supply. If they are able to have constant power then it is achievable. Constant electricity could attract good companies, thereby creating employment opportunities. This could alievate poverty in the developing countries. Thus, the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of the economy will improve. The challenge here with having constant power supply is also not to pollute the environment as fossil fuel is mostly used for the supply of electricity. Greener alternatives could be used such as tidal energy and wind energy. In my opinion, electricity could be constant in Nigeria if the industry is privatised. The privitisation of the telephone industry made mobile phone easily accessible by individuals. Most people own a phone, both ...
