The need for constant power supply in developing nations

Hello readers, I will be writing about electricity today. I will be using Nigeria as a case study. Electricity is one of the factors that contributes to the success of an organisation.

Developed countries have been able to maintain a  constant power supply. If they are able to have constant power then it is achievable. Constant electricity could attract good companies, thereby creating employment opportunities. This could alievate poverty in the developing countries. Thus, the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of the economy will improve.

The challenge here with having constant power supply is also not to pollute the environment as fossil fuel is mostly used for the supply of electricity. Greener alternatives could be used such as tidal energy and wind energy.

In my opinion, electricity could be constant in Nigeria if the industry is privatised. The privitisation of the telephone industry made mobile phone easily accessible by individuals. Most people own a phone, both the poor and the rich. In the past only the rich could afford a mobile phone.

Privatisation of electricity could be expensive at the initial stage like sim cards, however, it could reduce later as a result of  competition. Innovative ways to reduce cost could be explored. Generators and inverters which are the alternative used in Nigeria with generators being the one used the most. Inverters are expensive and it requires electricity to charge it too which could make your electricity bill go up.

Generators on the other hand emit harmful waste into the air. Noise pollution is another one of its effect. If a business runs on generators mostly it increases their costs, thereby, making their profit go down. I know of a company that left Nigeria because of lack of power supply.  I would suggest privitisation of the electricity industry. Allah knows best.

Everything should be done for the sake of Allah. Part of doing something for the sake of Allah means hoping for a reward from Him in this life and the Hereafter. Everything happens according to the will of Allah (you have freewill, therefore, you are responsible for your actions).

Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah). Peace be upon Prophet Muhammed. Thank you for reading this article. Keep checking out this blog. Cheers!

Evil: Lekki Central Mosque

Asalam alaykum There are mosques and there are evil places that call themselves mosques, Lekki central mosque is one of those places such an evil place. The so called chief imam Ridwan Jamiu is also fake. A mosque, they have two floors. I  thought women where suppose to be upstairs and men downstairs. Yet, he allowed women to be entering the part where men enter, seeing women and men walking and passing through the same door. Women praying downstairs with no division between men and women. When I asked him about it, he said it is allowed. How is that allowed. Islam does not encourage the mixing of different sexes. Where ablution is done in the female part is sometimes dirty, when you are suppose to do ablution in a clean place. The toilets there were dirty and they face the qibla. Toilets are not meant to face the qibla according to Islamic law. There is one toilet there that did not face the qibla. A pit latrine, which i find odd why would there be regular toilets and one pit latri...

Eid Mubarak

Quran 3:56-59

Asalam alaykum "As for those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe punishment, in this world and the next, and they will have no helpers.   And as for those who believe and do good works, He will give them their rewards in full. God does not love the unjust.”  This is what We recite to you of the Verses and the Wise Reminder. The likeness of Jesus in God’s sight is that of Adam: He created him from dust, then said to him, “Be,” and he was." Quran 3:56-59 Ma salam.
