About Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

Asalam alaykum

I will be writing about prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was praying in a cave on mount hira when angel Jubril also known as the holy spirit appeared to him. He told prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to recite the words in front of him. Although prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was an illiterate he was able to recite the words by Allah's (SWT) permission.

He was first worried about it that he confided in his first wife Khadija who assured him that he was a good person that God (SWT) was not going to disgrace him. Khadija proposed to prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) when he was 25 and she was 40. They were blessed with two sons and four daughters. The prophet of Allah (pbuh) also had a son with another wife he married. He married more women when Khadija died. He was in a monogamous marriage with Khadija till she died.

All his children died young. Prophets face the most challenges. He had no surviving son (his sons died during his lifetime) but his daughter who died after he did gave birth to two sons and one daughter. They lived longer than his children and they went ahead and had their own children (prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) great grandchildren). He has descendants in this present age.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had several wives, some were widows. It kept the mind of Muslim men that fought during the battles that their wives and children would not starve if they died as their wives will be married. It is a noble thing to marry widows.

Prophet Muhammed's father died before he was born and his mother died when he was 6. He became an orphan,

"Did He not find you orphaned, and sheltered you? And found you wandering, and guided you? And found you in need, and enriched you? Therefore, do not mistreat the orphan.Nor rebuff the seeker. But proclaim the blessings of your Lord." Quran 93:6-11

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was raised by his grandfather then his uncle. He was born in 571AD and died in 632AD after he fell ill. He is a descendant of prophet Ismail.

He is the last prophet and messenger of Allah. He is the seal of all prophets. The holy Quran a mercy for mankind and jinns was revealed through prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) earned a nickname called the trustworthy before he became a prophet. He was kind and generous. He loved children and treated them with tenderness. He is a great leader just like Prophet Ibrahim. He helped his wives with household chores. He was and patient. He was steadfast. He was a great political leader. He was just.

"Say, "If you love God, then follow me, and God will love you, and will forgive you your sins." God is Forgiving and Merciful." Quran 3:31

As muslims we are to follow the footsteps of prophet Muhammad (pbuh) so that God will love us. Not all hadiths are authentic, use your brain and heart when you hear them to know if they are authentic.

May Allah forgive me if I made any error in this article. Amin. Everything should be done seeking the pleasure of Allah. Part of seeking the pleasure of Allah means hoping for a reward from Him in this life and the hereafter. Everything happens according to the will of Allah (you have freewill, therefore, you are responsible for your actions).

Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah). May Allah send peace and blessings to prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Thank you for reading this article. Like this page on facebook. Keep reading this blog regularly. Cheers!

How to Make Money from Gold

We used to operate in a gold standard system in the past, it is common knowledge that we presently operate in a dollar based system.  A system where each country measures the value of its currency against the dollar for the dollar based system and the gold for the gold standard system. The gold used to be a yardstick for measuring the value of a currency, although it is no longer used to measure the value of currencies these days, it has maintained it's prestigious value. Gold a very valuable metal, its prices depreciates at times and appreciates other times, but looking at its trend over 100 years, the prices have always appreciated over 10 years or above. From 2006 to 2015, the gold price per ounce appreciated by 200%, while from 2002 to 2015 it appreciated by 300%. So Long term investors go ahead and purchase gold. You must always pay zakat on the value of your gold when it reaches the nisab which is 87.48 grammes. However, you can give charity (sadaqa) from it. Alla...

How to treat insects and earthworms according to Islam

Hello readers, I will be writing about the ways insects should be treated, from a bee to a spider to a fly to an earthworm. You should not kill an insect or an earthworm outside your house. You should only kill insects that could be harmful to your health under duress. It is better not to and find another alternative. If the insects provides no present harm to you, it should not be harmed. It is sinful to kill a spider, a bee or an earthworm Insects worship Allah and are controlled by Him. These insects have roles they play. For example the bee promotes working as a team " And your Lord inspired the bee: “Set up hives in the mountains, and in the trees, and in what they construct.. Then eat of all the fruits, and go along the pathways of your Lord, with precision. From their bellies emerges a fluid of diverse colors, containing healing for the people. Surely in this is a sign for people who reflect." Quran 16:68-69. "The likeness of those who take to thems...
